The movement of lightweight pleats of the Kimono, the light hues of the natural palette, and interplay between the gradients of flow, time, light, and colours brings a sense of languid fluidity to one’s lifestyle.

A collaboration between YING and The Ove Collection, ‘Autumn’ takes inspiration from the idea of “fluidity” – how colours and shades are never one. 2020 has shown us how life is fragile and fluid; yet with endurance, we are able to overcome anything. The main art hand-painted by Ying, the “ginkgo leaf”, is a plant that symbolises singular beauty, longevity and a profound resilience. It is a tree that can live for a thousand years. Inspired by the colours of the Ginkgo leaf in autumn, ‘Autumn’ hopes to inspire people to see the beauty in fragility and remember that there will always be a silver lining.
